The First Honorary Consul to Southern Nevada

Congratulations to our very own Bella Aurora Padua Belmonte, “Amie” to many, for being appointed as the historic First Philippine Honorary Consul to Las Vegas and the rest of Southern Nevada.

Message from the Consul General of the Philippine Consulate in Los Angeles

The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles convey their warmest congratulations to Ms Amie Belmonte, the new and historic first Philippine Honorary Consul to Las Vegas and the rest of Southern Nevada.

I vowed from the first time I set foot in Vegas as the new ConGen in LA in April 2021 to bring our services closer to the Filipino community in Southern Nevada. Today, we wrote history by making that vision a reality. From here on, members of our community in Vegas no longer have to drive all the way to LA or wait for our next Consular Mobile Service to have their legal documents acknowledged or notarized by the Consulate in LA. They can now avail themselves of these services at the office of the Philippine Honorary Consul in Las Vegas.

I am sorry to miss this historic event due to some unavoidable circumstances in LA. But Consul Maynard Maleon had my full blessing to act on my behalf, in particular to administer the Oath of Office of Honorary Consul Belmonte. Nonetheless, I look forward to personally congratulating our new HonCon when when she comes to LA for the orientation. We look forward to working with her in serving the Filipino community in Southern Nevada. Once again, congratulations Honorary Consul Amie Belmonte.

The office of the Philippine Honorary Consul to Vegas is located at:

4045 Spencer St, Las Vegas, NV 89119
